About This Project

as is is a creative project exploring what it looks and feels like to be truly, authentically yourself. Through filmed conversations and photo sessions, we’re building a space that gives people permission to love where they are right now, whatever that looks like.

We’re not looking for a certain type. We’re looking for people who are willing to show up honestly.

Participating in as is involves two sessions, each roughly one hour:

• A filmed conversation: relaxed and unscripted

• A photo session: we’ll work with you on what feels authentic to you and your story

Is there a particular setting, activity, or environment where you feel most like yourself?

Is there anything you’d like us to know going in — anything that would help us make this feel right for you?

Yes, I’m willing to sign an image and interview release for “as is” to use my photos and filmed conversation.

Making art is Hara’s passion. She is, or has been, a graphic designer, photographer, writer, fine artist, cinematographer, editor, set designer, podcaster, and magazine publisher.
